SKP Trading is a Canadian company dedicated to textile recycling.
Our love for the environment and concern for the wasteful fashion industry started us on our circular journey.
Our systemic approach towards used clothing ensures gently used clothing finds a continued useful, extended life for users in markets around the globe or discarded clothing as post-consumer waste to be used in textile recycling and help brands make fashion sustainable at scale – thus strengthening the loop in the wasteful fashion industry.
Reuse and recycling lower the impact on our environment, and the need for virgin resources. We have been supplying second-hand clothing and used textiles since 2015 to customers in international markets including Pakistan, Africa, Thailand, and across borders in US and Canada domestically.
Our work plays a direct and vital role in diverting clothing away from landfills to users in markets where it finds an extended life – at the same time helping charities raise revenue from the sale of old clothing.

Annual greenhouse gas emissions from the textile industry exceed that of all international flights and maritime shipping combined.
Our Impact
Since 2013, we have moved 100 million pounds by weight of used goods around the world – which could have ended in landfills or incinerators.
In 2020 alone, we moved 30 million pounds of used goods around the world for reuse or recycling.
Our efforts are a drop in the ocean – nonetheless – our work gives us relief in the knowledge we are directly diverting clothing, or post-consumer waste, to other useful markets and users to find an extended, useful lifecycle – saving landfill space, reducing new production, and most importantly – saving up our planet’s precious energy resources.
